"I see the world through eyes covered in ink and bleach
Cross out the ones who heard my cries and watched me weep"
Name: Adderkit
Gender: male
Age: 3 moons when he died
Rank: Sinnsear (ancestor)
Description: A shorthaired chocolate broken mackerel tabby with white and orange eyes.
Story:
It was what they deserved.
They were always so loud. So needy. Taking up all of our parents' time and attention and leaving none for me.
I was ignored. Cast aside. All in favor of those two brats who did nothing but whine and climb all over our mother.
I wasn't going to get what I deserved with those two always getting in my way.
So I told them that we were going to go play in a cool new place I'd found, just the three of us. They agreed without hesitation, naive as they were. They followed me right out of camp.
I led the chattering fools down the sloping moor, towards the hungry gray sea. I'd chosen a stormy day.
It wasn't long before we reached the cliff's edge. They seemed hesitant-- maybe they were smarter than I gave them credit for. I just smiled and told them just how cool this place was and isn't this so much fun?
So they came to the edge with me.
All it took was some playing, pushing them a bit too close to the cliff's edge. A few rocks gave under their paws. They cried out in their whiny voices and scrambled forward, but they just sent more loose stones cascading down towards the ocean.
They fell, screaming in their thin pitiful voices, disappearing into the jaws of the sea, the water swallowing their cries. It was blissfully quiet for a heartbeat.
Then the rocks gave way under my feet.
