Territory
Clan Fell's territory stretches over several square miles of highland heather moor along the northern coast of Scotland, located just west of a small loch (which twolegs call Loch Ruadh) and a few miles east of a bay (which twolegs call Tongue Bay). Although there is a small twoleg town near the bay, the clan lives several miles away amidst untouched, hilly moorland that rises above the town and the bay on a small mountain of sorts. Although the vegetation is primarily short and scrubby grasses and heather with only a few trees scattered about the landscape, the cats can use the dips and hollows of the moor to hide from prey. Mountain hares, grouse, and other birds make up most of the clan's diet, but they occasionally venture to the shore of the bay or to the loch to fish. The cats must also be careful not to fall prey to golden eagles, harriers, merlins, or foxes. Cats with darker, duller coats blend in well against the greens, browns, reds, and purples of the moor, and the cats of Clan Fell are hardy and lean, able to run across the moor and withstand cold, wet winters.
